It has been a pleasure to see such good work from lots of different children this week.  I am very proud of you all! It has been particularly good to see so many of you have improved your handwriting and three even gaining your pen licence. Mrs Myerscough

Pen Licences

I have had the pleasure of issuing eight pen licences today.  I have seen such beautiful handwriting and some very hard workers, who have been practising.  After all practice makes progress.  Well done – Mrs. Myerscough

Class 11 spent time in prayer remembering the lives lost in the Manchester Arena attack 5 years ago today. We explored the symbolism of the Manchester 🐝 and used this to guide our reflections. #ManchesterRemembers #sjsbSMSC #sjsbPSHE #sjsbliturgy

Class 10 @StJosephStBede remembered those who lost their lives 5 years ago in the Manchester Arena attack. They looked at the meaning behind the worker 🐝 and reflected on how love can bring peace #sjsbsmsc #sjsbpshe #sjsbliturgy #ManchesterRemembers

Today, we reflected on the anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack. We focused on the kindness and bravery of Mancunians and how they responded to fear and devastation. We wrote our own poems on the pride of Manchester. #sjsbre #aweandwonder #manchesterremembers #acityunited
